NEW STUFF: Since the past several rounds have not produced clearcut winners, rather than waiting for a long time each round for a winner to emerge or having a runoff every round, I'm altering the poll method slightly to try and break the deadlocks, since I don't like calling a winner until at least a 2-vote margin of victory opens up.

I'll call the poll at or after 25 votes have been cast regardless of whether there is a winner. In addition to the poll votes, bonus votes will be assigned as follows:

+5 votes: Poll winner or tied for lead in poll.
+5 votes: Each vote that poll winner is ahead of runner-up.
+* votes: The cumulative vote total that as prospect has received in all previous rounds.

These totals will be used after this round for Honorable Mention rankings. Currently, cumulative vote totals are as follows:

Crabb: 7
Foote: 23
Grenier: 10
Hirschovits: 1
Kozak:13
Rawlyk: 3
Reese: 8
Weller: 1

Reese easily. After him shall be Foote. This is very, very good depth.

Is Reese playing this year? Is he hurt or something? I haven't heard his name at all recently.

Voted for Crabb

He has some good numbers this year. 2 goals 6 assist 8 points in 10 games.

Crabb 8 points in 10 games 3rd on his team in scoring, could be a solid 3rd liner.

What does scoring 8 points in 10 games tell you about his ability to be a third liner? What does that tell you about his defensive play?

nothing as well, of course I'm not saying that the guy could play on an NHL checking line.

I like Crabb and think he can be more than a 3rd/4th liner. I don't know if he will be but he has the tools to be a second line player. He can skate like the wind and he hits everything in sight. Crabb should stay in school two more years fill out his body.

A good skater who often takes advantage of his speed to create scoring opportunities ... Is an intelligent and effective player ... Works hard for the puck and creates good offensive opportunities with his ability to get the puck to the net ... Good positional player ... Possesses good hands and puck skills ... Plays a sound defensive game ... Battles hard and plays the game with emotion and intensity ... Portrays the willingness to challenge the net and continues to be an intelligent and effective player on the penalty kill.

Sorry bmoak. 28 votes will have to do.

I'm not even going to ask anyone to take their personal urinating contests to PM anymore. You'll immediately receive your points endorsement, offending posts will be deleted and the thread will be locked.
