Just dreaming here, but wouldn't it be just crazy if the Stars and the Bruins met in the Stanley cup final. I know Ryder wouldn't be up for that series. And God forbid that he would score the game winner in game 7. All hell would brake loose in Boston.

Jack Edwards calling up to seven Stars-Bruins games?
He'd never make it.

Lol at us in the finals. No way we get past round 2.
At the beginning of the season, most people would have LOL'd at the idea of us leading the Pacific Division this late in the season.....this is hockey, you never know.
I just don't see us winning a 6-7 game dog fight with Nashville or Chicago and then being able to take on a team like Vancouver or Detroit. I'm not saying it's impossible (I know how I worded it, though), but I'll be absolutely stunned (in a good way) if we do.

Agreed. Anything beyond an 8th place finish and a non-sweep in round 1 would be awesome for me. Didn't expect this team to do anything this year, much less be 5 or 6 wins away from a Division crown.
I still think its just so they don't flat out give Morrow's spot to a rookie (Smith, once he gets here). Can't help but feel he either asked for it to try and protect his ego or they're trying to sell him as still injured.
Morrow may belong on the 4th line, but not if Burish takes his spot.
