Wonder if Capn still thinks we can play worse next season?

I don't know...that Flyers game early in the season was pretty brutal.

I was at Nationwide for the entire duration of a 9-1 loss to the Wings in fall 2009, with a much better team than this one. We haven't hit that territory... yet...

I still hold out hope that the weight of public opinion and JPM's intelligence win out in the end.

If not, not sure what I can hope for going into next season.

I was there for that one. Philly fans are as brutal as Wings fans. Pity was worse than contempt.

Don't worry guys, after Priest and Howson tweak the roster a bit, we'll for sure be in the playoffs next year, if we're optimistic good things will happen.

C'mon, you know better than that, Lee. Of course we can do worse.

You know the saying--it is always darkest...right before the Jackets find an even darker shade of midnight.

Shall we take actually killing an entire penalty as a positive? I'm usually fairly positive, Cap, but if we go into next season with all current management still in place, I may just shake my curly head and stomp my little foot.

Hey, written by that guy from St. Louis!

I hear Howson has a similar book. It is called "Hockey Dummies for Dummies."
