"The other night I was watching a commercial for slip-covers. It said, 'forget everything you know about slip covers'. So I did. Then the commercial tried to sell me slip covers; but I couldn't remember what the hell they were!"
His tone and delivery is amazing for his types of jokes.
Sounds good.
You might like Stewart Francis a lot if you haven't heard his stuff yet. "I was walking through the park today wondering 'why does a frisbee appear larger the closer it gets'? And then it hit me".
"I farted in a full lift today which was wrong on so many levels."

I really hadn't heard of him. Maybe I should have but he's not someone I've heard of over here.

I rather long-story comedians like Norm Mcdonald. Find his joke about the moth on youtube.

Not heard much of Norm's stand up stuff, he's not really known over here I find. I've got the boxset of the sitcom he did a while back. Used to be on TV here in the early hours and always made me laugh out loud. I'll look that clip up in a bit.
If you get a chance, see if you can find Dave Gorman's Googlewhack Adventure. It's a 2 hour real story, complete with powerpoint style slideshow and is probably the single funniest thing I've ever seen.

Norm's show was never that funny to me. I find he's funniest in interviews with guys like Conan or other late night people. He's probably one of the funniest people alive, he can say anything and make you laugh, just by the way he's saying it.
