And also with potential future HOF'er St. Louis, plus Stamkos and his 53 goals. They're only better than us because of him. Without Stammer, they're the worst team in the East. Just like we are the worst after no Gio and Markov for most of the year. It's a pretty ****** ass defense corps and lacks depth in forwards. Fewer bad contracts than us but carried by 1 line and then it drops off. Pyatt and Wyman would blow just about as much as Palushaj if they were here. All this with fewer injuries than us. But wait, their coach should be ours and their GM is a genius we should've signed (even though he'd be hung for not speaking French). The grass isn't always greener.

WTF are you mumbling about? Ohlund, Hedman and Kubina had been injured for stretches too. If you're still using injuries as an excuse for the Habs, then... you haven't learned much from this season.

I'm not using injuries as an excuse. We suck either way. But this idea Tampa is way better than us and that we made mistakes letting Pyatt and Wyman go? WTF is next? Bring back Kyle Chipchura too? And we should envy things about them? I envy they have the game's best sniper. That's all. I envy the Detroit Red Wings, not the star-laden but team-game inept Lightning.
I can't even put into words how nauseating Denis Potvin is to listen to. His voice combined with his mind numbingly idiotic facts and stories make it painfully obvious he only has a job because he's a HOFer.
Well I didn't say they're a great team. I'm just saying their already weak D had far more terrible injuries and that the Habs problem doesn't lie in the injuries but in the construction of the team. That's another story though and not for this thread.

Cammy with 1G-2A tonight. He's only showing up now that his team is in dire need of wins. That shows his clutchness but also his inability to do anything great until then, to be fair. I mean his goal production has increased to a near 30 goal pace since being traded (8 goals in 23 games) and may yet hit 20 but anyone could do that switching from our team to being with Tanguay or Iginla. At 6M it still ain't much for you if you aren't playoff-bound. That Cammy is doing that doesn't impress me a ton. He's still only a goal better than Lars Eller with more ice time on the whole this year. I'd be bitter if he wasn't injury prone (missed 16 games this year, 15 last year, 17 the year before, 19 in 2006-07) or useless physically and defensively (-10 this year).
On the flip side of the coin, guess who's even more useless in that last stat (-20 and -17 in 32 games with us) and gives even less effort? Mr. Rene Hork (cause he makes me wanna vomit) himself. Why do all players go into the ******* with us? I guarantee if we swapped Bourque anywhere else in the league he'd return to 20 goal, 40 point status. We're just that uninspiring, poorly run from the top and devoid of players who improve their linemates... and Bourque is also that much of a quitter. So I'm not bitter about Cammy, just sick and tired of trades that ALWAYS backfire. NO ONE wants to come here and give their all. We need a GM that makes players want to thrive here. Our only success stories seem to come with picking up guys everyone else gave up on.

The numbers showing is the amount of point we need to go our way in order to clinch a higher pick. For an example for 9th overall: we need to lose and Winnipeg need to get 5 points combined in order to clinch the 9th overall. It could be everything from us winning everything (0 points lost) and Winnipeg taking 5 points to Winnipeg losing everything and us taking only 7 points (5 points lost).
If we would lose a game, 2 points from every ranking would be removed.
