I don't get the Bronie thing

Ok I like a good internet meme as much as anyone else but what's the deal with that crap?

By using them, are men, admitting they watch a show geared at little girls?

I just don't find it funny at all!

I personally don't get the appeal either, and considering that there are very few memes that I don't at least "get" enough to see why they're popular, the sheer volume of brony activity on the internet is a little confusing to me.

Folks aren't going to all find the same things funny, but brony memes feel forced and nonsensical (esp. without any context...but even with context it's not even worth a chuckle)

I find it awfully creepy. I lost interest in My Little Pony as 4-5 year old girl, I have no idea why any grown man would have any interest in it.

I don't get it either. It's pathetic in my opinion. (For anyone over the age of 12 to like cartoon ponies.)

You have to watch the show to understand a meme... about the show.

I don't understand the meme, I just like that version of the song. The video is stupid.

The show is good... Watching parts of it wont be good to most people.

A good comparison would be Power Puff Girls. Which has the same humor and references that are geared towards an older audience. It's no coincidence that MLP was developed by Lauren Faust who was a writer and director for Power Puff Girls.

Dude trust me. It's good.

I thought it was stupid too until I watched an episode. I think the memes are out of control, but the show is good.

Actually just did the same on one of the most popular episodes on yt.

Just another children's show, got bored fast and regret finishing the episode.

Edit. But whatever, people like different things and I'm not going to judge.

As someone who watched Powerpuff Girls as a kid, I would never reference it as an internet meme as an adult.

The obsession is borderline creepy.

I judge the 2 creepy dudes in this thread. You know who you are.
