Last 10 minutes of that game were great defensively, everyone responsible and making the right reads/plays.

6 more games of that, and then about 16 after that too

Huge win.

Ugly win. No complaints though. I'll take it.

I'll give Boyle POTG
The Good: Gabby, Hank, McD
The Bad: Mitchell and his turnovers, giving up 2 PPG's to Minny

The Gretzky: The freaking New York Islanders.

Is it too much to ask for a 5 point cushion?

Onto Winnipeg!

It's never easy, always a little frustrating, but once again the results are there. They find a way. Very physical tonight too, I liked that.

Some how, some way, that's 4 out of 5. Maybe it's a huge positive that we somehow find these wins even when it's not going great.

1)Boyle
2)McDonagh
3)Fedotenko

1.) Lundqvist
2.) Boyle
3.) McD

The Redden: surprisingly, the PK unit.

Blues win their game tonight, but that isn't all that important in the grand scheme of things.

Good start to the 3 in 4, gotta pick up two more against the Jets tomorrow and against the Habs on Friday.

I'm wondering if Marty is starting tomorrow, if I remember correctly he has played in all of the games against Winnipeg this year.

Wooo.

I know Rangers fans would have rested easier if this was a blowout win, but a close game like this is exactly what this team will be dealing with in the playoffs. They are getting in playoff mode now and can draw back on these types of wins in the playoffs.

The defense locked it up after Feds scored the game winner. Hank came up huge in the 3rd. Dubi, Boyle, and now Feds appear to be peaking at the right time and hopefully they can carry this play into the postseason.

Nice win. McDonagh is an excellent player and the best D man on the roster. He deserves the hat tonight.

The fact that the Isles will do no worse than splitting these 2 games with Pitt is miraculous. If they win on Thursday as well, I don't know what I'd do.
