This sould be the game day thread pic, epic tank battle ahead.
So, you guys are the planes that are flying up in the standings, right? And we're the tanks that are stuck towards the bottom of the standings, getting us a higher pick?

perhaps this pic will more clearly illustrate what Im hoping to happen to the leafs tonight.
First shootout win of the season tonight. Book it. Only two other teams in history (by which I mean "the past six seasons") have not registered a shootout win, and one of those teams was the 06-07 Hurricanes (and we can blame Peter Laviolette entirely for this, as his shootout choices did not score and therefore his shootout choices were WRONG). Plus, it would be fitting of this team to finally win a shootout when the only thing it accomplishes is ****ing the fans out of a well-deserved lottery pick.

Either that, or 5-1 loss
Booking the shoot out win now. The epic FAIL-ness of it is too obvious to ignore.
Good question. It seems like Boosh would get BETTER if he were able to play more.
Shocking concept.
Oh, and I like how Ruutu is having to work his way all the way back to the 2nd line after being benched against Detroit. No, wait, he's already back there.
I'm predicting a big game from him now that he's learned his lesson. 1 shot, 1 hit, 2PIM, -2.
May they feast away then. We might as well try to enjoy this while we can, I don't think we'll be cheering for each other to win next year.
True enough, I think the Leafs are going to be a playoff contender next year, and the Canes are obviously a wildcard, pick a final seeding out of a hat (it's probably 9th, isn't it).
I find myself completely uninterested in this game. There's not even really any players to keep an eye on. About the only reason to watch is to see some players hit milestones, and even that is a very "meh" 20 goals.
