Desharnais had a great season, true, but Desharnais having a great season is not near Malkin having a bad season....

Same thing for Subban and Letang (and all the habs defenceman vs the pens), etc...

The Price is Right. It's probably been posted 100 times in this thread already, but it's true.

What do you mean by which one is it?

A group of individuals in a team having great season =/= good team. The Habs had some players that played exceptionally well above expectations (something you see in almost all non-playoff teams) but their team as a whole wasn't up to par.

Price having the numbers he has this year despite being the 3rd worst team is a remarkable feat. He's clearly better than Fleury.

Price had a .916 SV% with 1914 shots against, letting in 160 goals on the 28th team in the league...

Fleury had a .913 SV% with 1768 shots against, letting in 153 goals on the 4th team in the league...

I'm not sure how some people are bashing Habs fans for voting Price in this poll

The contract will be the same for both. 5mil a yr for 7 yrs.
Which goalie would you pick to backstop your team for the next 7 season.
Anybody still wants Fleury for the next 7 years?

Not only that, but I've seen some fans claiming Fleury had a solid case for the Vezina...

A better poll would be Budaj vs Fleury.

I'd take Budaj by the way.

Being a Bruins fan I don't like to say many positive things about Montreal, but I would take Price any day without thinking about it.

So would i. We got Price. No need to waste money on Fleury just to ride the bench.

I don't understand the crap Price gets. Price is a GREAT ****ing goalie on a bad team. MAF is so overrated its not even funny. This guy is still living off of his 09 playoff run. The fact that people have had this guy in Vezina talks is extremely laughable.

Price>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>Fleury.

As hfboarders usually say. AINEC.

If my team lost it's starter (price) and I could choose between one of these two I'd pick Price.
