Rangers depth is just so overbearing compared to Pittsburgh, also Lundqvist>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>x100 Fleury.

Even with a healthy Crosby, Pittsburgh is very unbalanced and it will eventually catch up to them. Conversely, the Rangers are the most balanced team in the league. NYR.

Penguins D is horrible.

They are getting so overrated right now all over this board.

Lundqvist >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Fleury

Rangers D >>>>>>>>>> Pens D

Rangers Forwards <<< Pens Forwards

With the acquisition of Nash, the Rangers have narrowed the offensive gap between them and the Pens. The Rangers are the better team.

Taking the Rangers.

Pitt has the better forward group, the Rangers have a far superior defence and Goalie.

If we can better contain their talent up front namely Sid and Geno, we should do well against them.

I think the Rangers are the better overall team.

I am getting so sick of the words "Sid" and "Geno"... Despite the Rangers improving on offense, we lost a lot of depth overall. I also feel the Rangers overachieved last season and repeating that might be too difficult. On the other hand we were unlucky with injuries to Staal and Sauer, and Staal is back now.

I hope we top the conference again but most important I want us to win 3 or more against the Golden Girls

How about the fact that we'll have kreider and nash for a full season and a healthy gaborik along with that? We can only underachieve at this point...

I just think our defense and goaltending is so significantly better, it has to be us.

Especially now that we have Nash. Crosby and Malkin are obviously two of the top talents in the game, but I think Nash, Richie and Gabby are better than Neal. And then we have 3 studly d-men.

And then they have to beat Hank.

I'm still skeptical. If there's a lockout, and Gabby is playing the full season, I pick the Rangers. But as things stand right now, we don't match up well vs. the Penguins and a repeat as Conference champs is going to be difficult.

Murrrrerrreeeeeeee homer vote. Lawl. We should find a good balance and win lots. We might not match up well against PIT but we only play them 6 times. We had a faulty Biron in for final 2 games against PIT last season.

Take out the Goalies and Defence, and that's when I'll vote pits.

IMO Kreider is better than Kunitz, and Sutter is better than Dupuis and Cooke.

I wouldn't go as far as to say Kreider is better than Kunitz just yet, honestly.

I bet if you put him in Kunitz's place, he would put up better numbers.

Kredier's potential is much higher than Kunitz's, but at the moment, Kunitz is higher imo.

The Rangers aren't even making the playoffs, guys. Polling is so flawed.

(I'm deathly afraid of expectations.)
