Yeah, the unfortunate thing about these avatars is that they have to be under 20K so you lose a ton of quality when you compress them.
Right. I had to reduce it down to 16 colors and remove a lot of frames just to get it to fit.
Anyways, I've noticed a lot of the gif avatars aren't looping like they should when in HFB. If you view the image on it's own it loops fine, but maybe there's just too many of them going on at once or something.
So this Gotham design isn't getting a lot of love over on the SCPO board.
Anybody have any better ideas or should we just press on with this one? I think it would be fun to just MSPaint some avatars and use those after some of the remarks about this design being "terribad". I think it's mostly a reaction to the initial Kane avatar which admittedly was thrown together pretty quickly.

Somewhat. I think if that's what we were really going for though, we could troll a lot harder.
Eh. I like the idea anyway. I was going through some old tapes of my dad's, and there was a couple of Batman seasons, so I popped them in the old VCR and there I sat for ours, laughing my head off. Good thing I found the "Boy Wonder" thing, though, really fits Shaw's "title" in Chi-town.

I'm still fond of my original Vancouver troll idea for this year, which is to just take their avatars and paste Hawks logos and players over them. Taking a shot at them while acknowledging the fact that last year's avatars were just rips of theirs.

I'd love to sport an avatar like that. I've already had 3 avatars removed by Mods.
I don't think we should be calling our team "The Pretenders". That's not a great message.

This is a good idea.
I also liked the one someone had before of using a picture of Keith's hit on Sedin and the phrase "not backing in...not backing down".
It's mocking their team as the pretenders, not ours. You can leave their logo and everything. You just paste over our faces in the cheesiest manner possible.
