Watch our other games and you'll understand why Nash must be traded.

If he played like THAT every night, we'd be happy to keep him in Columbus. But he doesn't play a fraction like that at times.

Great to see York get his first win. Saw him play for the Express, and he was just fantastic in that game. Cool to see a guy manage to go up from the ECHL to the NHL (though granted, I know he's been bounced all over the place this past year).

So how much of the team put money on the board to take out Mason during practice?

In larger markets, the attendance would be half that amount for a team this bad.

Why is Detroit so good at home but they suck on the road? It's all about match-ups.

As far as Columbus is concerned, just get us a damn goalie! It's hard to believe that over the 11 years of this franchise, we've had a good goalie only during Tugnutt's first year and Mason's first 3 months in the league.

That rant aside, great effort by the boys tonight. A real pleasure to watch!

Yeah, not tonight, it was a great effort by the entire Blue Jacket team.. they beat a good team seeking a better playoff seed. The boys got it done this evening and need some love.

WPG has done the same until lately.. other teams at times have a hard time at home. I don't think it's matchups, it's mental imo.

Amazing game. Nash was flying. Everyone played hard and we got the W. Good for York. I think JJ made me jump 5 feet in the air during the last few minutes when he was bullying the wing in front of the net. IDK why, but this game just feels like the hockey gods were sending a message that our patience will be rewarded one day, and one day soon. NBC Prime time game. Everyone making fun of us in the booth, ice, and networks. IDK, I am probably wrong, but I guess the optimist in me always comes out during wins.

See you all next season. Forever and always, Go Jackets.

OH, it's not been mentioned yet but the CBJ have tied their worst season with 57 points... one more point and this will not be their worst.

I think it's about matchups with WPG too. Whether you think it's matchups or mental, Detroit isn't the squad they used to be. Case in point, you just compared them to Winnipeg!

Sometimes points don't tell the whole story, this is the worst season.

Detroit needs goaltending, but I agree, they are not the team they used to be.

Points per dollar (in salary) it's the worst season by far!

I hope I never see Columbus and Winnipeg in the same sentence again, unless it's "With the loss to Columbus, Winnipeg has been eliminated from the playoff race. Also, their team is being dramatically improved for their move back to Atlanta, as paid for by Mega Millions jackpot winner and new Thrashers owner Mayor Bee."
