BTW- Anybody else impressed by RyJo scooping up that loose puck in front of the goal and skating it out of the zone? Too bad we were off side. To me that was a flash of what the Jackets were hoping for when they drafted him.

Has to be right around trade deadline time.
Ha I had forgotten that and I believe I was one of those making fun of the "no joy" business. So I guess I'm double-standarding.

Joey is going to be a good one, he's raw but he looks big out there when engaged.

Skraut made the comment that Nash only high-fived one player and didn't go over to the bench to celebrate after scoring a goal. Don't remember what game that was though.

I chuckled at the joke, but being serious for a moment, this has been going on for a few years now.

Wow I'm uber impressed with Nikitin. Every pass is pinpoint perfect. Just a smooth operater back there on D.

Pierre McGuire drops the line hinting that the alleged 'wink-wink' Vancouver-CBJ Nash trade has already been consumated. Cue the Nash thread on the Mains trade page in 3.....2.......1......

We just heard it was Gilles who took Mase out this morning..... cost each player $50 to have him do the mercy kill.

One of the very few bright spots for the Jackets this season. He and Tyutin (before he was injured) made an excellent defensive pairing.

I'm pretty convinced Nash is trying to convince fans and management groups he's worth trading for. This is the best chance he'll get.

But, the horn in chicago goes off, maybe, twice as often as the cannon.

The cannon is the single best thing about this franchise. In fact, all of the best things are due to the fans. The cannon, LEO! (I'm biased on that one), Money on The Board, the Fan Protest, the continued support of a perennial 8 worst teams in the league.

This is kinda sad, but I love how quiet the arena is considering it's undoubtedly 85% full of red wings fans...
