It was a pretty quick play, too. He tracked it down pretty good.’’ (on his line’s recent slump…) “There’s not a lot of high-scoring games, as we know. Again, we’ve got to find a way to score. That’s pretty much it."

I know a little bit better than that, than to go into a goalie with three minutes left.’’ (on Kyle Clifford’s penalty…) “[sighs] That’s another call that… Too bad there isn’t a video review for that, or maybe supplemental discipline.’’ (on the tight playoff race…) “It makes every game mean that much more. We have less room for error. We have three more games on the this road trip, and then three more. A clean sweep of those six would feel pretty good.’’ (on how he would grade the Kings’ game…) “I’d say `B.’ I wouldn’t say it’s our `A’ game. Our `A’ game is when we score three or four goal and our power play is clicking. It needs to be better at this time of year, especially in the position that we’re in."

We were coming off those two really physical games, and you could see there wasn’t a lot of energy in our game, but we were doing everything right. We were just trying to dig down in there. A tough one.’’ (on the tight playoff race…) “It’s the same thing every night. It really doesn’t change, and we’re used to it. It’s not going to change how we play.’’ (on Dustin Penner’s goalie-interference call…) “We’re in the position where we want every break that we can (get), right? That wasn’t a penalty. It wasn’t a penalty, so it doesn’t matter.’’ (on the officials’ explanation…) “It doesn’t matter. It wasn’t a penalty.’’ (on the difference in the game…) “I hate to be short, but the difference was, they scored one goal and we didn’t score any. That’s the difference. Other than that, I wouldn’t say there was a whole lot of difference. I wouldn’t say they’re trying to do something different than we are."

NOTE : Regarding LARGE SIZE IMAGES / YELLOW RE-SIZE IMAGE BARS ABOVE PICS, let me offer up one nice little suggestion ...
This will get rid of those pesky yellow resize bars over the top of some larger pictures ... as they annoy the hell out of me and maybe they do you also ?
- Go into/click on your "USER CP" {control Panel} up top left in the red bars
- on the left under 'Settings & Options' click on "Edit Options"
- scroll down to 'Thread Display Options', and then 'Please Select the Resize Mode'
- click on the 'Drop Down List Box' over on the Right of 'Please Select the Resize Mode'
- select it to "KEEP ORIGINAL SIZE"
- SAVE your selections !
There ... now don't that look MUCH BETTER

Shoudl be a hard fought game. The flames top lines (at times) dominated the play for extend lenghts against Dallas the past two games.
There Defense is very injured. We need to get on the forecheck hit them hard, and take the wind out of their sales.
Kipper has had an amazing season, but has let in a couple of softies his last couple of games (sound familiar).
Should be a huge game. Dome has been unfriendly but I hope that changes.

Turning point game of the season. Lose, and it's not over, just harder. Win, and it's a much easier path to the playoffs. While I hope the team understands this, the Kings history of "doing things the hard way" is looming large.
Seriously, Kings, just score first, then score often, and blow them out. Give us fans a break, for once.

The last time we lost two in a row, we went on a six game winning streak. We just lost two in a row and there's six games left in the season now. Hmmmmmm........... Deja vu?

This is it, in my opinion. Lose this game, and it's near impossible. We have to break this slide NOW. I expect a big game from all four lines.

nah, losing this game just means we have to win the 3 'easy' games and take 1 from the sharks. Win this game and we could have a playoff spot locked up before the last 2 games
