Saying stupid things on other peoples boards is trolling. Saying "I come in peace, I ain't trolling" before or after doing so just adds a moronic flair to the whole thing.

Regardless, good to see Krug workin on him. Be interesting to see where he signs. Correct me if I'm wrong, but the Flyers already have a couple of extra forwards going into next year that would make it difficult for him to earn a spot. Might work in Boston's advantage considering the B's have some FA's.

The thing with these undrafted college kids is that in the rare chance they do become NHL talents, they're usually late bloomers and don't blossom with the first teams that sign them (St. Louis, Peverely, etc.)

Still couldn't hurt adding Brown to our prospect pool though.

Adam Oates and Martin St.Louis went undrafted.

Who knows.

Hope he signs and makes scouts eat doo doo. Good for him.

He's from Ontario, but played NCAA. Cherry will be torn on this one.

Is it me or is there a larger amount of undrafted college players getting signed? Maybe I'm just noticing it more.

GMs and scouts always complain about how hard it is to project 18 year olds... signing a guy who's done with college, has had a few more years to develop, and you didn't spend any assets on is pretty low risk. Makes a lot of sense these days.

Abbott is on a paid tryout for the rest of the season but only signed for 1 year.

This made me laugh.

J.T. "Big Boy" Brown

Totally jacking that nickname if he comes here, even if it doesn't make sense with his size. Could even throw "Bruin" in there somewhere.

I wonder why he's so heavy on Boston and Philadelphia. Two of the deepest teams in the league for forwards.

Who would you rather play for Boston/Phili or Columbus/NYI?

If I had the choice I would love to play on a winning team.

If I am not a stud, I am pickin the latter. Breaking into the NHL is very difficult, cracking Philly/Boston's roster is even harder. Many will take the better opportunity.

I'd rather have a winning organization help me develop. ELCs are 3 years tops.
