Went to the game tonight. The Sharks left the weak side of Niemi open all night long. It was a matter of time before the Coyotes capitalized on it. That and minus Smith's boner of a pass from behind the net to the low slot with no one there he was a monster.

What are you talking about. It wasn't even 30% shark fans. I was there.

Lol I'm sorry I posted that on my tablet. I don't get the full site.

I'm very aware that it was a great crowd of our fans. Just poking fun is all.

When is Pyatt due back? Who comes out when he returns or does tippett go with tonight's line up as long as we keep winning. Will be interesting to see, will the first time in a long time that everyone is healthy.

Matt McConnell was driving me ****ing INSANE!!! It's NOT Havalot NOR Havilit, it's HAVLAT! HAVLAT, HOW ****ING HARD IS THAT? Niclas Havelid has been out of the NHL for three goddamned years. He is not the same person as Martin Havlat.

Ugh, I wanted to choke him to death. EVERY time, without fail he called Havlat Havelid. I was tearing my hair out. Why did nobody in the truck tell him? Walsh or Nash? Jody ****ing Jackson? ANYONE!?!?!

Oh yeah, great game by Smith, and props to the poster that called a two goal night from Vrbata.

I'm the only actual sober DD. How sad.

Pyatt will probably steal Chipchura, Brule, or Boedker's spot, which is a shame because all three players are much more effective.

In the playoffs the team needs a big bodied forward. Pyatt will be needed.

Having size and effectively using that size are two very different things. Neither Chipchura nor Brule are anywhere near as large as Pyatt but i would argue that their vastly superior grit, hustle, and intensity make both considerably more effective on the boards and around the crease. Both are much, much harder players to play against, and its not even close. Pyatt is a big *****cat. The gentle giant was worthless in each of the last two playoffs. He along with Fiddler and Stempniak were the three players i was most disgusted with after the sweep last summer. Invisible.

I second that, Pyatt has always been soft for a big guy, if he played like Torres then we would have something, but he plays like Vrbata...except without the skill, which makes him useless.

Brule, Chipchura are much better options, especially Brule as he draws penalties, plus I love how both throw what weight they do have around.

No way Boedker would sit for Pyatt. Probably Brule. He was not very effective last night (especially in the defensive zone).

Fun game to be at. Was dying to see Whitney get 1,000. Ah well, I'll take a freakin 2-0 SO over the Sharks. I don't know how Roszival lead all Dmen in minutes, I thought the guy looked bad early on, and just our worst defender overall. The lines went old school last night with Yandle-Morris, OEL-Aucoin and then Klesla-Roszi.

About 40 minutes before the game I was hanging out on the west end smoking patio, when I turned around and saw this guy walking along the other side of the fence. Recognized it was Rob Blake right there. I almost wanted to shout out "Hey Blake!". Figured he was there with the Sharks in some capacity, but he was there for the Dmo ceremony. Apparently he works for the NHL.

Brule had his quietest night as a Coyote last night. He's been extremely effective, overall however. Id say he's the most effective of all of the group in question.

Schlemko > Roszival

I tend to agree but Rozsival led the team in TOI last night.

Great to see the minutes spread around.

Serious? I haven't looked at a stat sheet, but I was at the game--and it seemed like he was out there every other shift. It drove me nuts. He'd dump it into the corner when he could have taken the shot, and when he did shoot, it never got to the net. Schlem or even Stone seem like better choices. Maybe Schlem's foot isn't quite 100% yet?

according to Pyatt, he's returning Saturday.

I find it hard to believe that Tippett would mess with the lines after a 2-0 shutout.

If he does, I'm 100% behind his decision.

Glad to have a healthy defensive 7 back, and 2 more than capable rookies to step in if needed.

Schlemko > Roszival early in the season. Since his return from injury I'm tempted to say he's = to Summer/Stone. I don't think they can risk putting him in the lineup in place of Roszival in hopes he gets his groove back.

In Tippett I Trust.

I'm really liking his play. It was a great pick-up.
