Back to Transformation again, does anyone have pics from the inside?
Is there any plans to replace the exterior to all glass, that would be cool and modern
Seems to me the part about the new upper bowl being moved forward towards the ice doesn't exactly appear to be the case. From this time lapse video of the construction the front row looks to be just as far (if not further) from the ice than it used to be. What do you guys think?

well row 1 should be about the same distance, but every row behind it will be a little closer and closer because of the steeper pitch. But beware because the earthcam uses a fish lens which distorts the view heavily. You'll have to wait to see it in person or see some good pictures

i think its exactly what they said it would be, higher and closer
Can't you just base it on the parts of the upper bowl that were done this year? The first row looked like it was at the front of where the old walkways were. I don't see why it would be any different for the rest of the upper bowl

It's clearly higher. But when they were initially reporting on the renovation they were discussing how the 300s would be moved forward to the front of what is/was currently the walkway between the 200s/300s. But it appears that instead of moving the section forward, that space in front will be taken by the couple of rows of seating for the new mid level luxury boxes that will go behind the last row of the current lower level. Perhaps I'm wrong, as it's hard to tell from the videos/pics, but it doesn't look like the upper level seats are moving forward by the width of the old walkway.

they are moving forward. the couple of rows of seating that are in front of the mid level luxury boxes are wehere the teal seats were last year in the lower bowl. the new 300's are over where the walkway used to be

That was my understanding as well. Those row 1s center ice have to be the best seats in the house. Imagine what those mid-level center ice suites go for - I bet it's a lot more than $150 per seat.

If you look at the seating chart and look at Section 220 in relation to 420 (blue seats), you'll be able to see that the Blues are equivalent to around row 15 of section 220. It's looking like all of the $50 and $43 seats are higher than the Blue seats from this. Is that possible?

yes, the blue seats are on the 9th floor of the building. the upper rows of the new upper bowl extend all the way to the 10th floor of the building which is where the old suites were
As of sunday the 29th the concrete looks about done and has connected to the ends on both sides. Seems like the majority of the work right now is being done on the 7th floor with the suites and madison club, and the new roof. Other then that I guess the next big job is putting the seats in. I wouldnt be surprised if seats starting going in by this weekend, ofcourse since the earthcam is a week behind, we wont know until next weekend.

Worst case scenario at this point is everybody has a seat as promised but the concourses aren't polished off. I bet they're going to get everything done though by the deadline

I'm sure it will be similar to last year, where they opened with a limited number of concessions and opened more as the season progressed. But yes, the seating will all be completed before opening night.
