Practice line up:
Richardson-Kopitar-Brown
King/Nolan-Richards-Williams
Penner-Stoll-Lewis
Clifford-Fraser-Westgarth
Hope JW gets MR going.
Oh man. Richardson played miserable his last game and has been benched over and over. Now he steps right into the top line. Honestly, I think Nolan deserves it.
keep Williams-Kopi-Brown together, they have been hot and need to stay,
if Carter can't go, then Richards can center King and Richardson or Nolan, or maybe even Lewis, who's upped his game lately, (actually I don't like Richardson on our 2nd line at all)
King-Richards-Nolan was a good line before. They should try that out and leave the first alone. Put Richardson or Westgarth in Nolan's spot on the 4th line.
If we miss out on the playoffs because one dude gets hurt then this team shouldn't go to the playoffs anyway and DL should get canned the day after the reg season ends.
Paging Mike Richards: Pull your head out, man!!!!!
Here's Brad Richardson's grand opportunity to do something to give the organization a reason to bring him back next season. If he fails to show up, it's time they cut ties with him over the summer. We've all been disappointed with Stoll, Penner, Richards, etc., but Brad Richardson to me has been absolutely worthless this season.
That's not bad. I would prefer to leave the top line alone but if we have to break them up, then I'd rather see Nolan get a shot on that line than Richardson.
At least Richardson will be the first man to the puck, He does have that. Now he just has to win some board battles. Just use the speed, get pucks to Kopitar,Brown.
He's usually good with injuries. That would him back in the lineup for Monday's game.
I can live with that. We need him for the playoffs if we make it, and if we can't make it in without him-- against our schedule-- then we have bigger issues anyway.
Richardson seems to play his best hockey late in the season and in the playoffs, so let's see if he can make an impact. My prediction though is that he scrambles around, falls down, and collects minuses.
