He can be effective when he plays hard. He was actually pretty decent on Richards wing earlier in the season.
I've been watching him all year and he is a great skater that can't finish...he has to be the most frustrating Kings player to watch...other than Williams when he puck handles too much and get it poke-checked off his stick or Doughty when he winds up for 3 seconds (although he has not done this the last couple of weeks, someone must have talked to him).
Sorry for the ramble, but Richardson HAS to learn how to finish in this league or he is not long for it.

Exactly! To all of this! He gets all the speed and then loses control. He's gotta learn to stay in control and makes plays at high speed.
Needs to be this...... Dont reinvent the wheel people, this gets it done. Penner has been playing great as of late. He is playing for next year. He has something to show.
Brown Kopi Williams
King Richards Penner
Nolan Stoll Lewis
Cliffy Fraser Richardson

If it is, can't see him coming back before the playoffs. Those things linger. Had one in October. Took a few weeks to heal. Then again, I didn't get the same level of treatment a professional hockey player gets.
in basketball, I know that low ankle sprains can be healed in days, while high ankle almost always take 2-3 wks, minimum, not 1-3 wks I had posted before,
and some high ankle injuries can last longer than 3 wks,
but don't know how bad his ankle injury is,
maybe he is a fast healer,
but don't expect him back in next few days for sure...
Brad Richardson. Enough said. He should have been in some campus chasing around teenage girls. He is immature as a person and I can't see him being a part of a SC contender team. At this point I'd prefer KW in the lineup.
Fortunately Sutter saw the same, benched him for 8 minutes in last period and after that he only played on line with Stoll and Lewis, with King playing on Kopitar-Brown line.
On the other hand this could have been just sharing TOI between back-to-back games (Sutter is good at doing that) and we will see more of BR on the top line...

Uh... can you explain/support this statement with facts by any chance?
