He was the Leafs' leading scorer in the 1963–64, 1966–67 and 1969–70 seasons, and the team's top goal scorer in 1970–71 and 1972–73. Keon was considered one of the fastest skaters in the NHL, and one of the best defensive forwards of his era. He would usually play against the opposing team's top centre, and developed a reputation for neutralizing some of the league's top scorers. In 1970–71, he scored eight shorthanded goals, setting an NHL record.
tough players shouldnt' be trying to bully 20 year olds around, and if you do... answer the bell, not run away with with your tail between your legs.
chicken crap shoudn't be playing on this team, hence it reflects the leadership of this team.
when is hartnell and simmonds become a plug??? LOL
WHyyyyy are people acting like schenn is a baby needing to be coddled. Phaneuf gave him a shove and the flyers want his head yet when the opposition pick on our young players they're applauded (Neil on Schenn, Neil on Ashton, Hartnell on Aulie..but backfired, etc).
As for the regular season, those four are still active. I'm not sure if Bryan McCabe is still an active player. Not sure if he counts. Kyle Wellwood played one game for them and Carlo Coliavacco played two games. They are both still active.
I'll give you 10$ a ticket... I know, I know that's too much... 5$
$20 each for Reds.

Who do you consider tough in this league? How many of them can actually play hockey. How many of them fight goons?
I don't understand who the goons are in the last few back and forth comments about Phaneuf, Brayden Schenn, Hartnell, and Simmonds.
The only instance I saw of any goonery was Brown trying to get Hartnell to go - because Brown is a Rinaldo type player - just older and slower.
The only real goon out there tonight was Rosehill I guess. Why even dress that moron when they already know Shelley isn't in the lineup. I assume that decision is up to Carlyle - but why dress Rosehill - is there nobody skilled on the Marlies? Laviolette seems to have wised up and stopped dressing Shelley in favor of Wellwood - who is twice the player that Shelley is.
