He does, and according to CapGeek, he's yet to do so. Interesting.

I'm sure they'll give him a contract. At the very least, he can play in Kalamazoo.

Yes but I'm fairly certain they have until August 15th to sign any NCAA prospects that recently graduated.

“Namaste.”
It’s a common salute at the end of a yoga session. It’s also a word that Devils defenseman Matthew Corrente may be becoming familiar with this offseason.
“I’m going to get into yoga a little more than I have,” Corrente said two days after the Albany Devils season concluded. “I’ve heard good things about it and I haven’t given it a fair shot. I think it will definitely help me so I’m going to add that into my workouts this summer.”
Ailments plagued Corrente during 2011-12. He missed stretches of 15, 13, 4 and 3 games, appearing in 39 contests. While in the lineup, he registered two goals, six assists and 73 penalty minutes.
“It’s a long season and there are ups and downs everywhere you go,” Corrente said. “Unfortunately, there were a little more downs than ups for me this season. It’s all about overcoming it and coming back strong. My body is still able to heal – thank God.”
By now, the Mississauga, Ont. native is back in the greater Toronto area and is working with a trainer five days a week. Back in April, he commented that his hope was yoga would have a positive effect on his health leading into next season.
“I think the yoga is going to help keep my muscles nice, long and lean,” Corrente said. “I’m not really thinking about the injuries. I’m just going into the offseason doing my thing and staying strong.”
On Monday, Corrente was one of three restricted free agents that the New Jersey Devils tendered qualifying offers – Mark Fayne and Vladimir Zharkov were the others. He is heading into his fifth professional season and his career has included stints at the AHL and NHL level.
Drafted in the first round (30th overall) by New Jersey during the 2006 NHL Draft, Corrente has appeared in 152 career AHL games, producing 13 goals, 34 assists and 318 penalty minutes. In the NHL, he has logged 34 contests, registering six assists and 68 penalty minutes.
As Corrente prepares for 2012-13 and to make a push onto New Jersey’s roster, he is using the offseason (and yoga) as a means to an end.
“Since I was a little kid it was the same thing: to win a Stanley Cup,” Corrente said when asked about his goal for next year. “There isn’t much more motivation I need. Hopefully one day I’ll get that opportunity.”
Hopefully it helps keep him healthy

He sounds like a good kid. I hope he gets a shot somewhere. If it was with the Devils, I wouldn't mind, but I don't really see how that's possible.

He'll have a chance to crack the lineup with Fayne out.
Best of luck to him, I have met him and he is first class.

This is probably his last real legit chance to show what he's got. It really is too bad that he's been hurt so much because even though he probably doesn't have top four potential anymore, I still think he has enough talent to become a good 3rd pairing defender. Would be nice if he could prove all of us wrong and make it.

I agree with most that this might be his real last chance in making to the bigs... at least in NJ that is. I find it surprising that he hasn't made it yet, the first 2 years after NJ draft him he had stand out camps. Personally I think he is kind of like a tweener. The one game that I watched him this past season he played very good. Mind you he hurt his hammy that game but you could tell that the skills were there.

He did not land a gig in great league, but he's gonna have some fun for sure.

Then we can expect 100 goals and 200 points from him...and 50 goals more in playoffs...can't wait

And hopefully HE WILL NOT HAVE SOME FUN, because OF "FUN" some players almost lost their lives

Some of them killed too many beers and one of the players felt very hard (in very drunk condition) in his bathroom and in one moment his life was in danger. He damaged head, broke several ribs, damaged his hip...hopefully he is alright now, but that incident, or just unlucky situation, were his exist ticket from club. If no for incident I am sure he would still be with Medvescak as he became fan-favourite in very short time.

And Perkovich signed in a good league. He will need to work hard every shift if he want to be succesfull. EBEL is just little behind other top leagues in Europe. Hopefully he will do well for us and later for Croatian national team.

Darcy has proven to be a good two way forward at the AHL level. This upcoming season will be Kelly's first professional season. He is a good playmaker according to his college stats. As of now the most either of them are going to be are bottom six forwards. They will most likely be top AHL players for the rest of their careers.

We're not sure who will play where yet. Lou said the goalies would be competing for the AHL spots in training camp. It's possible for any two of our four goalie prospects to be in the AHL, even though Frazee has seniority.

I think we'll move Frazee and play Wedge and Kinkaid in Albany.

I didn't know where to post this.

I reviewed the progression of New Jersey's OHL prospects from this past season.
