What a bummer that it's not open to the public, the Flyers opened their game at the skatezone in Voorhees.
Tomorrow's game isn't an "official" AHL preseason game. It's just an informal scrimmage.

Harry Young fights Zack Fitzgerald at 5:52. Pretty even match. Young might have hurt his right hand on a final punch. Headed to locker room.

First period over. Score is 0-0. Shots are 9-5 for Albany. Albany is 0-for-3 on PP. Adirondack has 30 seconds left on first PP

It would be our NHLers that can't score on the PP.

Mike Ashmore, a writer for one of the Trenton papers, posted it on youtube.
He used to have a blog on the Trenton Devils.

@TGfireandice: Adam Larsson just had a big smile on his face carrying the puck up ice on the Albany PP. 5-on-3 ad for Albany for next 41 secs.

Not sure who scored, but Adirondack tied it up at 16;42. Kind of a broken play in front. Sentyurin shot and it hit deflected off something.

Tom Gulitti ‏@TGfireandice
Play started with Gelinas turnover at Adirondack line that resulted in 2-on-1 other way.

Tom Gulitti ‏@TGfireandice
Great pass by Parse to Josefson for shorthanded goal with 1;43 left in 2nd. Albany leads 2-1.

Tom Gulitti ‏@TGfireandice
Parse got drop pass from Josefson, faked shot on right side, passed across to Josefson for shot along the ice from left circle and goal.

Adirondack tied it up, but shortly after Josefson scores a shorty, from Parse.

2-1

I hope I can see some of these games when everyone is playing.

Depending on which twitter accounts you're following, both Albany goals have been called shorthanded goals.

I want Josefson on our main PK unit. If he or Zajac take the faceoffs we might not lose so many draws on the PK either like we did in the playoffs.

0-for-8 on the PP

Looks like the kids learned well from their time in the NHL. Do **** all on our PPs, score on the opponents'.

And yes, Gelinas-Larsson sounds like an awesome pairing.

Wonder who was on the PK units today? I think Barr's ''Use all the forwards on the PP'' might have been a one trick pony for last year. I'd rather see guys like Josefson, Bernier, Carter, Gionta, and Henrique on the PK. Trav, and Patty can get some time too, and maybe limited time for Kovy. I'd rather not use most of the same forwards on the PK as the PP again especially if the PK, and PP are both bad.

Josefson could become someone we compare to John Madden I think. He also looks more beefed up than last year.

That's what I was thinking. He has the offense to be more, but he could settle nicely in that role.
