That's what I was thinking. He has the offense to be more, but he could settle nicely in that role.
Some people have said Josefson will get better than Henrique. He's definitely a better face off guy, but he hasn't really been matched with the top lines yet. I'd like to see him take draws on the PK too. If Patty's drawing, and Jacob is on the ice, it would leave me scratching my head.
Although he did not get on the scoresheet today, left wing Harri Pesonen played another strong game skating on a line with Adam Henrique and Mike Sislo. Pesonen, who scored 21 goals in 60 games for JyP Jyvaskyla in Finland last season, signed a two-way contract with the Devils this summer. He had a goal and four assists in Albany’s first two AHL preseason games and appears to be the kind of player that gets under opponent’s skin.
“From my standpoint, not knowing much about him, I’ve really liked his energy,” Kowalsky said of Pesonen. “He’s physical, strong on the puck, does a lot of little things away from the puck and he’s got that pep in his game. He quietly seems to be a little bit of a pain in the butt to some guys out there and I like to see that he has that grit to his game. You can’t get enough of that.
Apparently Albany is playing Binghamton tonight. 2-0 Sens so far. Doesn't seem like TG is there since he hasn't said anything about it.
Yeah I don't see if Larsson is in it, but Butler, Tedenby, and Josefson appear to be. No Henrique I don't think. I just see Burlon, Gelinas, and Corrente as far as D men goes. Kinkaid, and Frazee are the goaltenders, but not sure who's started the game.
Wedgewood and Kinkaid are going to make the team. Just a hunch...no idea what happens with Frazee...loan him to a ECHL team ?
I don't think he can be traded since with the lockout and all.
I don't know, but I wouldn't mind parting with Frazee at this point. He might have a better chance to play in the NHL somewhere else.
I still can't see him in the ECHL even though I want Wedgewood in the AHL. When can Frazee become a UFA? You know Lou won't let him walk as an RFA. He's 25, but can't he go UFA at 26 like Taormina did if he doesn't play in so many NHL games in a year or something?
