Clermont is backup.

Clermont started the third period in relief of Gill in his last game with Kalamazoo down 4-0. Clermont also started and won the last game of the season.

#3 Kalamazoo (84 pts) will play the first two games of the best-of-five series on the road against #6 Wheeling (83 pts).

Kalamazoo won the regular season series over Wheeling 2-1-0-0.
