Tedenby...meh. I think it's just the general lack of scoring the team has a lot of the time plus him not being on one of the top 2 lines which are the more offensively productive lines.
Kowalsky, put Tedenby with Josefson!!! They have great chemistry and if Josefson is doing well he could rub off on Teddy!
Josefson's probably the best defensive forwards if not best defensive player on the team. He's close enough to it at NHL level too. Tedenby I'm not sure he's the worst on this team defensively. Being with Josefson would help him offensively. Not sure if it would have a negative on Josefson's power defensively though.
I would trust Josefson to be able to babysit Tedenby, especially because Tedenby needs that security net in order to work his magic. The whole point of moving Tedenby up to play with Yayo is to get his offence going.

Tedenby is as inconsistent as ever.

Coach, like every other coach Teddy has had in North America can't trust him with that.

Thanks for the update guys, sad to hear that Tedenby can't get his tools together, I always had high hopes for him.
It's the one constant that doesn't change for Albany I guess haha.
They play for the shootout once it gets to OT it seems much like the NHL Devils did last year. Only the NHL Devils could win a shootout, and these guys can't. It's much different with the 5 round though I guess as opposed to the 3 in the NHL.
I was just being goofy, and not legit bashing Tedenby on that one. I figured if I said he sucked maybe it would rub off, and help him score some more. Though it was after he scored, and it didn't seem to help in the shootout haha. It worked when I called out Parise, Patty, and others during the playoffs. My personal favorite was calling out Poni, and then him scoring that OT goal against the Flyers!
NOTHING will help this team in the shootout. They've scored on 3 shootout attempts in 4 total SHOOTOUTS. That is embarrassing. 3 goals on 20 attempts. And I don't like that Daily Gazette article where Josefson calls it a "crapshoot." That's not the right mentality when a game is on the line.

They need more shootout practice cause many of their games have went to shootouts recently, and they have maybe one less shootout less than they do regulation losses. That's the difference in being under 500, and over right now. Also Josefson is pretty bad in shootouts. He's great on breakaways though during the game. He's like Kovy in shootouts before last season. Kovy would score 6 or 7 out of 10 times on an in game breakaway, but was like 20 percent in shootouts.
From what I can gather Wedgewood seems to be playing really well in the ECHL right now, even though his stats might not be all that impressive. Seen reports that says he's AHL ready, even NHL ready when he's on his game (bit premature, still good to hear). Great glove too apparently. ECHL/AHL scout also said he's better than Kinkaid. Will be interesting to see him play in the AHL very soon.
Hope you guys realize that the shootout is inherently random and there have been plenty of teams to be on streaks as poor as Albany only to turn it around and win five shootouts in a row.
Frankly, we're lucky the Devils were so good in shootouts last year. Would have been a 7th or 8th seed otherwise.
Not necessarily. If we went 6-10 in shootouts we still would have had 96 points whereas Ottawa finished with 92, and Washington with 92 also, but won the ROW. Things could have been different if we lost both shootouts we won against Washington. Though they would have won the division, and we would have still been in 6th, with Florida finishing in 7th or 8th.
