corrente is an 88, mcpherson is an 88, and there have been people on here that think mcpherson is gonna be the next scott stevens, yet they're the same age and corrente is by far way more skilled offensively and defensively cant help that hes had injuries, i still think hes got a future
I might be the most pro-McPherson person on the board given what I've seen in person and on TV, I think he could be a draft steal at his draft number. If I were forced to choose and had to "lose" one of them at this point? I'd say goodbye to Corrente. MC is now 24, and has shown very little, despite opportunities granted. Hopefully he's a late-bloomer, but I'm starting to lose hope.
I'm pretty sure Corrente will be kept. He's alright in Albany, and if he ever puts it together and manages to stay healthy, he could be a good asset for trade. No sense to just drop him when keeping him costs so little. It's not like he hasn't shown anything at the NHL level. He has a highlight reel's worth of hits with only 34 NHL games played! I doubt Lou would just let him go.
