PTD 2014
(November Edition)

Part-Time Draft 2014
  • Draft the best team of players born in 1946 or later
  • Each team drafts 12 forwards, 6 defencemen, and 2 goalies
  • Please PM the next GM after making your pick
  • GMs with 2 or more skipped picks will be auto-skipped until they make up all their skipped picks
  • We will use 3 methods to vote on the best team: the Polls Forum, ATD polls, and GM votes
  • The bottom teams drafting in round 1 will pick first in rounds 2 and 3 to offset the advantage of the first few picks in round 1

Damn there's a HUGE step down now. I'm torn between two guys. I might as well start off my back end.

Pick #4 Ray Bourque

Lidstrom was the other guy I was considering. After Orr, these two are a cut above the rest.

I like the depth the 4-6 teams will have. Each one will have a top 6 player, a top 9 player, and a top 15 player for a total of 3 top 15 players. Nice.

Wow never thought Potvin would make it that far...Lemieux/Potvin is a lethal combination to start with.

Will make my pick shortly.

I strongly considered Messier as well. I think Roy is a lot better than the next goalie then Messier is compared to the next center. Solid pick though. Messier and Orr isn't a bad combo either.

All of these teams look stacked so far...and they are.

As usual, the middle rounds will determine who has the best team
