Eh...not loving it. The exterior is strange and cheap looking. Plus, it's in Wales-no offense, but for that price, I would want to be in a more prime location.

Not that he makes billions off it, but he also does commercials.

I don't think it's a smart buy, but it's not exactly throwing money away like some pros do. Witht he way the cap is going he could probly get +/- 90 mill in his next contract.

Can't wait to get a mature Patty Kane here in a few years.

Don't care if he was a dick as a kid, or he rubbed people the wrong way as a kid in youth hockey.

Bonafide start entering his prime who wants to come here, to go along with the future core we'll have in place... Griggs and Girgs, Ennis, Foligno, Myers, McNAbb etc... THAT'S how you make Buffalo a destination for other FAs.

This team is going to look so incredibly different from the post 2007 team in a few years... Gonna be sweet.

Nobody.

Speculation. And if we'll pay him the contract he deserves why wouldn't he... I know I would.

If he isn't gonna resign with Chicago you'ed have to think we'd be the favorites out of the gate.

Just speculation. I do think he's mentioned wanting to play in Buffalo at some point in his career but idk.
Anyway, you'd have to think we'd be amongst the rumored favorites if he doesn't re-up in Chicago.

Why? I'm from Buffalo, the Sabres are my favorite team and if I were to be a free agent Buffalo wouldn't be my first choice. Wouldn't be in my top 5. So why is it just automatic that he'd want to come play here?

He'll likely re-sign with Chicago unless he keeps having these off ice incidents. However, if he wises up his act, would love him in Buffalo.
