PRV seems extremely mature for his age - from any sound byte, or quote I've come across. I doubt he'll take this as anything but a positive opportunity. No harm done methinks, as long as the brain trust doesn't have a brain-cramp and muck with his AHL run somehow.
Harski has been great with Gagner and Hemsky so I'd probably keep that line together, however if we see more of Hemsky-RNH-Eberle then we might see a Harski-Gagner-Paajarvi line. Hemsky and Paajarvi showed some nice chemistry before they were separated and Paajarvi sent down as well. Lots of options that could make sense, so expect him to be playing RW with Belanger and Hordichuk.
Its hard to say which end is up right now. Renney has been rattling the deckchairs and Hemsky was spending quite a few shifts with RNH and Eberle lately. Alternating in there instead of Jones. Pretty sure this was happening at EV in addition to some PP looks.
I'm inclined to say why not put Paajarvi up with the big boys and get Hemsky back with Harti and Gagner.

Not like theres anything at stake right now.
That makes sense, IMO Harski would be a big boost to the top line, however he has been golden for the 2nd line as well. Paajarvi won't look any worse than Jones on the top line and if given some games there he might develop some chemistry with RNH and Eberle. Our LW options minus Hall aren't all that spectacular right now.

He's not a yoyo. I think they should commit to keeping him down so he can feel like a key part of the team and develop there. He hasn't played to his and our expectations at the NHL yet, and there's no reason to expect that will change every other Tuesday.

"Magnus could play with Nuge and Eberle." Tom Renney
It makes total sense to call him up if there giving him the opprutunity to play with top 6 players and be on the powerplay.. his confidence should be up from bfr he has the first goal out of the way in the nhl and played good in the minors if anything if he comes up and plays good im sure he'll play with even more confidence in the playoffs with the barons this year.. he deserves a proper shot bfr the yr is over

too bad they obviously left out the end of the quote
""Magnus could play with Nuge and Eberle, but we really want to evaluate Jonesy and see what he can bring to the table."
Pretty sure that Omark is toast, something tells me that his attitude has as much or more to do with that than his ability on the ice.
I think it has even more to do with the fact that we already have 5 small players in our top 6 for next season. His attitude this year seems to have been pretty good.
I would rather the Oilers kept him down in the AHL and gave the opportunity to Omark.
Unless they have already decided on Omark. sigh.
He must have played like + + + + for them to do that to him again. I hope he improves over the summer and gets another shot with a different team. A team that can work with him a little. I am not thoroughly convinced he is not a legitimate NHLer.
I hope MPS looks good with Eberle and Hopkins and shows some chemistry with them. He can most certainly keep up and his skill set should mesh well with them I think.
The more options Renney has the greater the probability of failure.
I'm sure he will put together lines and combos that are totally illogical, downright stupid and counterproductive to utilize the full array of assets at his disposal. lol
So this is what will happen he'll rack up 3 points in 2 games and Renney will reward that play by putting him on the 3rd line for the next 2 games. I mean that's how things work in Renneys mind, right?

Agreed. Jones was dead weight on that line. A confident PRV could be quite a good fit. Fingers crossed.
MPS may fall flat on his face, but at least it'll be more interesting to watch than seeing him chained to the Belanger Black hole for the kajillionth time this year.
I really enjoyed watching Hemsky play with RNH and Eberle, so I hope Paajarvi plays with Gagner and Harti, on the right side.
The only reason I'd like to see this is because as it was mentioned in the OKC thread, PRV has played RW under Nelson and watch the video of his 15 goals from last season. I'd say about 11-12 of them are from the right side.
