One more thing. You got a kid in the 13th round who can play in the league in a few years. That's a good pick! Rememeber his name. Will do whatever he is asked and very hard to play against. Will fill out to 200lbs np

What is the story on Slater Doggett from Burlington Jr A ? Drafted by Kingston in the later rounds and he is a 94 ,Does he have a shot at making the team next year? What type of game does he play?

Belleville seems to draft kids that end up playing 4-5 years in the league. You probably don't have a kid that will leave before 4 years of hockey so they have time to develop and contribute. Petti, Desousa, Cramarossa are all solid and can play next year. Heffernan is a solid player who will play tier 2 for at least a year. coric needs to add some size but will love the big rink. He is creative. Lavigne is another late draft pick goalie that can play. He is arguably a top 3 goalie in the gthl with not much seperation from herbst and hacket. He was hurt during ohl cup and didnt play. Ming and Cobbold are great, great picks!! Trent Shore; no clue how he fell so low.....he could be your biggest steal.
Would give you an A as you did everything you could in the draft.

Racine and Stefano also probably one year away from cracking the line-up. Dunno much about Burnett the D-Man they took.

How does Windsor end up with Ho-Sang, Sandivo, brown?? If they have a deal with Schmaltz to come and play; what a great 4! Bennett Morrison!!! When you draft a kid in the 7th round and is without a doubt gonna play in the O........How do they do it?? Stocking up potential kids for the 2014 season and their mem cup bid....

He simply doesn't report or can't spend more than 48 hours at camp ( I think that's the amount of time) to maintain his NCAA eligibility. That's done all the time. Can be, as you said, already has an agreement or think he'd be better suited to the college game/lifestyle.

The majority of the guys who opt for the aforementioned route will be playing in the OPJHL, USHL, Major Midget next year.

When you pass on Diclemente who played in your backyard and under Tugnutt's eyes, they must like Robson enough for maybe a future?? Michael Giugovaz will be the back-up next year. Who's leaving?

You asked if anyone knew anything about Stefano....I know this kid personally. He is a great athlete, tremendous skater and a huge heart, literally. This kid can go forever...I put him in the McKeown category in terms of stamina. Tireless worker, fast skater with great acceleration. You want to know why the Soo Greyhounds are in the state they're in, they passed on this HOMETOWN kid in Round 4, instead choosing Trent Mallette. Mallette is an energy kid, and a great kid in his own right, but couldn't score in an ocean. Petes get a kid who should score 25-35 goals a year (when OHL ready) and be an absolute stud killing penalties....play him at centre cause he will be the first guy on the forecheck and the first kid on a backcheck.....I'm not his father, nor is he related to me....this kid will turn out to be a STEAL for the Petes...shame on the Greyhounds!!!

Petes will be banking all their offense on the development of Maguire, Racine and Stefano in the next few years.

Hopefully we can see them all get signed!

Thanks Suddz17,
Pretty decent stats, I was wondering if anybody had a scouting report on him. I think he played for the 94 Reps MM a couple of years ago.

Good skill level and works hard. Isn't afraid to go to the dirty areas. Good pick up by Kingston.

This kid's ability to skate at a high pace for 1-2 minute shifts is absolutely amazing. There is definately something different about him. Add in his unbelievable desire and this young man reminds me of an energizer bunny. Pretty difficult to measure heart and lung size (see Lance Armstrong) but this kid has something special.

For Petes fans, he was an OFSSA 100 metre competitor...up until a couple of years ago, was a champion long distance runner and the best soccer player in Northern Ontario, giving up both to focus on hockey...you will love his desire and compete level

Stefano right? Unfortuntely it looks like his best chance at making the team will be in 2 years when he is 17.

Cornel, Maguire, Racine and Stefano have the POTENTIAL... To be very good for the Petes in the future. Add that to a solid 95 forward group in Ritchie, Nosad, Thompson and are European pick this season and we are sitting pretty.

Can anybody tell me about Adam Burnett, Positive and Negatives of his game?

The Generals picked up a very nice player in Mcdade 3rd Round!

If u look at the list of Kingston Frontenacs drafted in the 2012 OHL draft, most of them are undersized. Smallest drafted players , out of any team I believe. The first 4 choices from them were gold.

you can't go wrong with Maguire. This kid brings it every night, every shift. He has the skill and the toughness to excel in the league. Came from a very weak team like Cornel and didn't have anyone to play with. Just not sure where he fits in with all the left wingers on the team. Reid will have to make a trade in the off season for sure to get someone for center. Thompson might be the odd man out. Petes have now had two solid drafts in row. Petes fans should be excited about the next two seasons

Nah, Thompson will need to be part of the future plans on the bottom 6. European pick will have to be a 95 and be a Centre. Will fit perfectly with this teams mold going forward.

Barkov fits what this team needs to a T. Hes Finnish, 6'2, 198. Size-Skill Combo.
