A shame that Varly just missed the shutout. And that the Avs were once again held without a PP. Not that any of that matters with the win, of course.

I saw olver in his first or second NHL game last year, and I also mistook him for a kid on the ice during warmups and the anthems. he may be the lightest player in the league.
That said, even that night he was obviously a player. I remember stoa was playing that game as well, and the difference between the two in effort was incredible.

I pissed off my entire section last night. That goaltending performance by Varlemov was one of the best performances I've ever seen by a goalie. Reminds me of what Quick did to the Flames earlier this year. But, Varlemov did have a bit of a tough time with the rebounds. Fortunately, the Avs were good blocking shots and cutting off passing attempts.

As far as I know Wilson was a healthy, McGinn was a back issue (but nothing serious)

Landeskog is 13th in the league in +/- with +23. The next guy from a team not currently in a playoff spot is Joe Thornton in 64th spot with +14.
