Going for Pittsburgh. Not because I don't want another Canadian team to win, just because they're my second favourite team and they're a very exciting team to watch.
Not Vancouver. Never Ottawa. But I will be cheering for our pseudo Canadian neighbours!
I will be cheering for Detroit in the West and Buffalo in the East. They are both practically Canadian cities anyway and close enough to drive to see a game.
I've met so many nice, friendly people in both those cities too from my own experience when I've gone down for Leafs/Sabres and Leafs/Wings road trips in the past.
I used to think you should but then I grew up and realized no one likes the Leafs. No one wanted us to win the cup years ago and the country would implode if we did. Everyone wants us to lose even if we were up 3-0 in the Cup finals 10 seconds to go with a 5 goal lead they'd want us to lose.
Does that mean I want the others to lose? Not erally, apart from Ottawa and Montreal I don't care but don't expect me to "cheer" for another Canadian team when they'll cheer against us in the same situation.
Let's be realistic here. If the only way anyone wants there to be a Canadian team Cup parade is for Toronto to win it, we'll all be dead from old age and buried before we see that happen. I'm cheering on Vancouver, I don't give a crap about the whole riot thing.
Well if I live to old age which I say is starts around 65 years old. Then I have 46 years to go. I think that's enough time for the Leafs to pull it together and win something.
I'm normally one to cheer for Canadian teams, and I sorta support the Canucks, since it's got Burke and Nonis fingerprints all over it, but most likely I'll be interested in seeing how Nashville does.
In the East, probably want to see no one win it, if I had to pick a poison, I'd go with Philly, since I have a lot of buds that would be happy.

Calgary, Detroit and Nashville are my backup teams
Ha these are the exact same teams I'd be watching this year.
I don't actively cheer for any other team but the Leafs, though when playoffs come around I generally enjoy watching the Red Wings. This year I wouldn't mind seeing Nashville do some damage, and I generally enjoy seeing Calgary doing well only because Iggy deserves it.
Hopefully the Marlies get sold out all playoffs long and the Ricoh gets some nice buzz and atmosphere for the kids. It could be a special run for them. I know I'll try to go to a few games, time permitting.

I will as well (time permitting). it would be nice to see the kids have a good compete level and try to win.

Toronto Marlies and Toronto Blue Jays all the way.
More people should go to the Ricoh and watch a Marlies game, the playoffs are coming. There are more fights in the AHL too!
As for cheering on other Canadian teams, what is the point?
Canadiens fans dislike the Leafs
Canucks fans dislike the Leafs
Flames fans tend to be somewhat neutral to Leafs
Jets fans dislike the Leafs (yes check their board for Leafs bashing)
Oilers fans tend to be somewhat neutral
Senators fans dislike the Leafs
So really, what is the point to cheer on other teams where fan bases relish in the Leafs misery?
