Eventually, he has to tell her that he is interested in her and ask if she has feelings for him. If she doesn't, well that sucks, but honestly, it's probably not a bad thing. Yeah, it might be awkward but frankly, who gives a ****? You told her you liked her, she said she didn't feel the same way, you moved on. At least you ****ing went for it brah.
If she does, well the ball's in her court. She can stay with her boyfriend, or go with Rask. If she chooses Rask, great. If she chooses to stay with her bf, at least Rask can move on and start pursuing other women and not get hung up over this one girl.
The trick is the timing, of course. You have to tell her before you get friendzoned. And to me, it sounds like you're almost there, if not already there.
Staying the course is just all kinds of wrong, imo. When she breaks up with her boyfriend, whether that be next week or next year, you won't be the one that she'll be looking for to start up a new relationship if you're in the friendzone. Trust me. You will think "Oh goody! She broke up with her boyfriend and now we can date!" but it just doesn't work like that. It never does. She'll look for other guys and you'll just be considered a good friend.
Thanks for all the advice boys. But again I must say I'm telling you I'm not in the friendzone. We still don't really know each other that well, we just talk and flirt a little in class.

I had to think on my feet without sounding like an idiot.
Basically the reason why my buddies an I barhopped Saturday was because my buddy's friend had one of her friends looking for someone to 'mingle' with... So while interpret that as you may, we didn't get to the other bar until just after 1:30am so I had no time to wheel like that. Rather I just met this girl, chatted her up a bit, but never got the opporunity to get her number. My buddy was a great wingman though, as we got back home he texted his friend basically saying should we hook Mike up with this girl's number. So messages were apparently exchanged, and this girl said it was cool to pass along her number. So I got it from a friend of a friend basically. Ergo why I decided it was more appropriate to call directly, looks better on me.
So back to the voicemail, in this instance, I didn't know what to say exactly

Pretty simple. Just said 'hey it's Mike, so and so's friend from the pub Saturday. Just thought I'd call and see how's it going.. Give me a call back, it'd be nice to talk to you again.. Hope to hear from you soon'.
Didn't want to overdo it
Update: She replied via text, so I'm not worried about the voicemail anymore

Well it was funny because my buddy and his friend, the one who we met up with, were texting each other while we were at a different bar. Now this is my best friend, so he was showing me the texts and hyping me up so it was quite a laugh reading their conversation. And yes my buddy's friend asked if he had any friends out that were single and ready to mingle.. I laughed too
