Yeah because we've got a lot of forwards turning pro next year. No sense in keeping dead weight if he's not going to do anything. Granlund, Larsson, Bulmer, Zucker, or Coyle could take his spot next year.

That's one of the first bad defensive plays I've seen Heatley make.

In my opinion EC would be VERY valuable to this team as a depth forward for when people in the top-6 go down.

And hell, with a good camp, he could even prove himself a better option for 2C than Cullen.

Ugh.

The Coyotes need these 2 points. I really hope they make the playoffs.

Ehhhh... IMO, Cullen is way better than Christensen. You actually notice Cullen when he's on the ice. Christensen's just on a hot-streak.

I'm so split on a lot of these borderline games, yes, I'd love for everything to fall in place for the Wild. But the positive is Phoenix makes the playoffs and someone like San Jose might not.

Thats why I said with a good camp. See if he can continue this hot streak in a real world situation.

Me too, but the Ducks truly don't deserve to draft higher than the Wild. Think about all that talent on their team... Their second line is like our 1st line, and their defense is better than solid.

I want San Jose to make it!

Cmon Backs, just be out of position on a fluke shot here...

And that gentlemen is why we absolutely need a different method of icing.

Isn't a hit on an icing play an automatic suspension?

Considering Granlund has a top 6 forward position locked up and has been magic over in Finland, he could be taking the second line center position automatically.
