Can't believe everyone's actually upset about a ****ing WIN. It's good to finally see some semblance of character and really anything other than apathy out of this squad.
Remember, this is mostly our team for next year. Most of these guys will be back, and most of the team from next year will be these guys. It's a good sign if they can not only win, but do so against teams fighting for division/playoff spots.

Ehhh....not too sure about that. I expect at least 25-35% change if not more.
I almost blew up tonight Eddy Xmas Disaster style.
On a WIN. WTF is wrong with me if I'm ready to blow up over a WIN?
This whole season is just leaving such a bitter taste in my mouth. The one thing I was looking forward to was a very high draft pick, and it looks like that is more than likely going away soon.
Veilleux I want around. When I gave him the shoop da whoop face in my buffalo GDT it was 100% as a compliment. The guy plays like a man possessed out there.
Christensen I am slowly being sold on. Offer him a prove it deal.
I could still see a trade involving one of those guys. Fletcher has shown that he can be unpredictable and will pull the trigger. The only guys who I see as him not touching are Heatley, Koivu, Seto, Brodz, Gilbert, Backs, and Scandy. I wouldn't be shocked if he made a splash by involving a guy such as Clutter or Cullen during the draft.

Even still, we're watching most of the core of next year's team. It's good to see that these guys can succeed.

I would not mind seeing Clutterbuck going to the Eastern Conference to a team like the Leafs for something like their first if we could swindle it out of them. With Bulmer coming, Kassian in the system, and Veilleux likely offering to play here for peanuts, I think we're good in the hits department.
Cullen oh god if we can get something decent for him by all means do it.

it's not like squeezing out 3 more wins this year will somehow change everyone's attitude for next year.
What it will do, however, is hurt our draft positioning.

It will definitely help the attitude of the guys on the team right now that will be next year.
It's hard for me to ever root for the tank, but even I'm salivating over the chance to move up in the draft lottery. This whole season has been bittersweet.
I only watched highlights and read the thread, but is seems Zucker was great! Great news, and his two assists were acutally goals ruined by his teammates . Plus I do like this spoiler element. Helping the Sarks isn't wrong.
Zucker could be NHL ready next year? But we'll see. It's only two games so far, no hurry.

Yeah, we need to stay top 5, mandatory. Sick and tired of having a **** draft position because our season gets ruined by something, everyone comes back from injury, starts winning like we used to and then we miss out on a star prospect. Two more wins and we're almost out of the Top 10. We need D, but we can also fill that D prospect with a second round choice or UFA plug until next year when we can get a star forward this year.
I'll be pissed if we were so close to drafting that star Russian centre, someone like Forsberg, or Galchenyuk, but we go on a mini-streak and end outside of the top 10 or close to it.
As has been pointed out probably a hundred times now:
Cullen has an NTC and is completely happy playing out his twilight years in his home state. He's not waiving and he's not going anywhere, so you can quit hoping for it to happen.

This, this, a million times this.
I think we should all consider taking off our Tank Wars and Force Ghost avatars before the Chicago game tonight. I think they're jinxing the tank by making the team play good.
