When watching the game I thought of these boards thinking "hmmph.. noone ever suggested to play these guys together"
That is a legitimate THIRD LINE, all veteran NHL'ers and exactly what we need. Example of a good coaching call, albeit late, but credit Noel for finally doing that.

edit: Wellwood-Antropov-Mittens

Getting a B2B win on the road would be sweet. No pressure boys lets go out and have some fun and take it to these guys.

Kane will get his 30th tonight.

The Jets eliminated Carolina from playoff contention last night.

We could also eliminate Tampa tonight and possibly the Islanders on Thursday.. That's a decent motivation to look forward to!

I've been helping take care of my mom for the last few days so I'm completely out of the loop. Who's injured and what does Glass need to walk off? We had a game last night? What has my life come to?

Washington's in 8th? Well that just won't do. Even my dentist dislikes them.

I see we have another thrash-metal challenge!

Since we are playing TB:

Glass broke his foot blocking a shot in the 1st. Played the rest of the game though.

I think Tampa can eliminate us tonight. Washington has the tiebreaker on us (clean wins) and will surely beat the Habs tonight.

Might impair his value in the FA market.

Potential lightening storm downgraded instead to likelihood of just light and widely scattered showers.

They can. In fact, even if we win, Washington can eliminate us by beating Montreal. (now that Ottawa gets at least a point today)

Correct me if I'm wrong, fellas(and I probably am), but the ROW is the first tie-breaker, correct?

With that logic, and from what I've read from the standings, SHOULD we win ALL 4 of our remaining games in regulation or overtime (But not Shootout), we would be in if:
-Buffalo gets no more than 1 Win OR 2 Overtime Losses
AND
-Washington gets no more than 1 Overtime Loss (OR 2 Overtime Losses OR 1 Shootout Win)

The reason I have the last part surrounded in parentheses is because at that point, us and Washington would be tied in points AND ROW, but I can't remember our season series record against Washington to know if we beat them or not)

That sound right?

You're right, and we would have the second tiebreaker against Washington based on our head to head record, so they can win 1 game in a Shootout, or get two point via OT losses. However a clean win by Washington over Montreal tonight eliminates us (and Tampa)

Yes. I said clean wins but recall it was ROW. Thanks for the clarification.
