i agree with the halpern benching. dude can win faceoffs but he's nothing special. aucoin has some flare and knuble > halpern.
put wideman on PP unit 2 though, green on 1. get this team rolling.

i also believe the goaltending circus is not over. if vokoun gets mildly healthy i think he'll be back in, maybe if we lose a playoff game with neuvy then vokoun gets tossed back in. it's too bad though vokoun went down last game.. i firmly believe he is a top tier goalie and a few times this year has been let out to dry by his defense, followed by some bad games but not many..and with two other goaltenders knocking at the door it stirs up the "who's the number 1?" controversy. with that being said, a healthy vokoun > neuvirth and > a young rather inexperienced holtby .

Concerns maybe for Backstrom's conditioning. Want to limit his minutes to critical junctures of the game, i.e. PP and a few 5 on 5 shifts. Look for Joel Ward type minutes for him tonight.
okay knuble hasn't been having as good of a year as we all would have liked, in fact this is probably one of his worst years. but i still believe he has it in him to be a difference maker at times, more so than halpern. can be. halpern has one goal since december 15th.

He's here to play the 4th line, and he's done pretty damn well at it.

Tried to do it myself before, unfortunately there is no way, they should add it to bbcode where it could be like [yt=77] and starts at 1:17... Pretty sure it would be easy.

Any thoughts that bringing in Vokoun messed with Neuvirth's head?
Vokoun and Hamrlik are fellow countrymen and there were some times that they were disgruntled. Neuvirth understands what they are saying. It can't have been easy.
He was 2nd banana from the outset and not the go to guy. Then there was all the Holtby love. Once Neuvirth knows he's "the man" and knows that the force ah fans are with him I think he can be very very good.
