Couldn't catch me dead in a pair of jeans that cheap.
I'm pretty sure you wear 7 For All Mankind and Diesel so I'm not sure I really want to take your opinion on jeans. They're also my jeans for chilling in my apartment before I do anything note worthy.

I guess the question is "Am I actually a tool or do I like playing that obnoxious persona up because I know it conflicts with a lot of people and I don't actually care if they get it or not". Feel free to take your shot at answering that.

Oh I see. The best personae are the ones that you have to explain to people to justify what you're doing.

I also could have not explained it and it really wouldn't have changed anything. People are free to judge whatever I'm "doing" but the great thing about that is perception and reality are two different things entirely. But thanks for reminding me to ditch that explanation out of any future conversations, kind of ruins the fun of it all I guess.
In the realm of sports/fitness outerwear this stuff isn't all that expensive (or all that high quality). It just seems that way because their marketing strategy is to sell it in malls and "shopping districts" where they target the casual/brand name/trend shopper who doesn't really know much better. So their stuff gets compared to general sportswear companies (Nike, Under-Armor, etc.) that are sold in the same type of environments, or lower-quality specialized brands like North Face (who sort of straddle the border between that sort of marketing and actually competing for the knowledgeable high-end shoppers). Lululemon's stuff would come off as both overpriced and of lower quality if sold in the same stores as brands like Arc'teryx, Patagonia, prAna, Mammut, and others of that nature, with shoppers who are able to discern the quality, construction, fit, design, and so forth.

Am I the only one who hates the feel of those UnderArmour shirts? I have one but I doubt it fits me anymore. I've been using $7 V-Neck Ts to workout because they're more comfortable and make me look swole too.
