OK, I didn't know if there was a rule in here about who starts the GDT thread but...who do you guys think gets the nod in net tonight?
I believe TR will start York but...three starts in four nights is a lot. He played college hockey whoch only plays weekends and he basically rusted on the bench all this season so he isn't a "carry the load" goaltender yet. Not to mention he had to fill in for Mase twice this past week. If York starts tonight, that would be his fifth appearance in seven nights.
This team isn't going anywhere and York can still close out the season...after tonight. Perhaps giving Hunwick the start is not the worst idea.
Hunwick wouldn't be a bad option, but York has been playing quite well. If he isn't too tired, why not keep rewarding him for his play? It doesn't make sense to just sit him for the heck of it.
Tonight is clearly a battle for which team truly loves Ken Hitchcock And I want to see either goalie play well regardless of who is in net.
Record low viewing tonight, with the game going head-to-head with Ohio State. In fact, I've lost interest alrea
I'd never choose OSU anything over the CBJ. I grew up in Cleveland suburbs and never have gotten into the college sports frenzy down here, even though its been 22 years in Cbus now for me. As far as the March Madness, I did jump on the Bobcat bandwagon, but my kids are both students down there, so it made sense in the moment.
I watch with the sound off, anyway, and will switch back and forth between Jackets and Bucks. Since the hockey starts at 8 and the basketball won't get going till 9, or so, they both may fit very well into my Saturday night entertainment.
I will have two tvs going. My wife will be yelling at the Buckeyes, and I will be yelling at the Jackets. My Jacket apathy has waned a bit since the last two outings.
Our dog will be in one of the bedrooms waiting for the games to be over!
Typical CBJ season... we lock up last place, all the pressure is off, and we play really good hockey. 4-3 CBJ. Goloubef with a helper in his first game. I'll be watching on my Game Center app. Thanks, Blue Hair Guy.
Same here. If CBJ played the very same time the Buckeyes played a National Football Championship game, I would be watching the Jackets. No sports events ever come before the CBJ, even a CBJ team playing a meaningless game in late March.
