Stewart ends the game in classic Blues fashion.

Quite possibly my favorite game. Ever. At least top 3. After Game 4 and the playoff clincher.

I'd like to see Hitchcocks post game, if Vancouver takes two points tonight they take the Western lead.. That York guy is hot eh, Rj is as well..

Keep Mason out of the net and anything is possible, good game.

Rimer just made it sound like York passed Mason on the depth chart. Sweeeet.

Agreed. I'm not one to run the stats but it seems this team consistently plays better in front of goalies not named Mason.

Didn't expect that outcome - Jackets are playing with a hybrid NHL/AHL lineup and just took it to one of the best teams in the league in their barn. Still, I think I've seen this show before. For some reason The Who song "We won't get fooled again" is playing in my mind - I'm happy the Jackets won, but next October's a new season, and this very likely won't translate if the past is any indicator. So I'll reserve judgment.

Did Hitch looked surprised at his presser that his boys were swinging tomohawks instead of playing hockey? According to Rimer, that's just not a Hitch team.

No pressure, pride, RJ playing like he used to and solid goaltending are a few factors I would guess..

Someone needs to call Mike Modano and recite that to him...it's not like he could actually read what it says.

Good game, the player I was most impressed with on the ice tonight was Berglund, he played with and edge. I haven't watched the Blues this season like I have in years past, but he looked good. Backass is still a ******, one of the bigger ******* in the NHL always looking to fight guys he thinks he will have no problem with, I can't stand that guy.
