Send a message via MSN to Rise from the Ashes
Price for sure does not have a concussion and its an excuse to tank (hopefully not actually injured, although Mulder confirmed he is.... redundant post? lol?)

another player I really like out of the QMJHL has been named to the U18 and he is Anthony Mantha of Val d'Or, big kid with a nice scoring touch

Remparts are still playing so no he won't be available. Very unlikely to make the team next year either as the Remparts should be at least as good if not better. Look for him at the Hlinka tournament though.

Remember you can get a 2nd round pick for James Wizneuwski, Andrei Kostitsyn etc. Not a bad offer. Right now I see Edmonton, Carolina and Anahiem going for Murray, Dumba.
Weber is a spare part with very little value. There are some people on these boards that are guilty of grossly overrating their own teams players/prospects. Who wants a soft PP specialist who couldn't even get into the lineup regularly on one of the worst PP teams in the league. Then to package him with three 2nd round picks (but not the highest one that we own) for a top 5 pick is ludicrous. The Islanders would ask for Subban and we would say no.......end of discussion as our strengths don't match their needs.

You are aware that they would recieve offers from other teams that would consist of an NHL player that is far better than Weber and possibly some high draft picks. You don't just throw a bunch of spare parts out there and hope to get a top prospect in return.

I hope you are not serious.....If they were going to sit Price, they certainly wouldn't say that he has a concussion with all of the negative publicity surrounding hockey and concussions. I am sure they would have made a more prudent choice. Not to mention that Price would never comply with such a hair brained scheme that would affect his market value in a contract year.

This actually is so ridiculous that it isn't even worth discussing.........but somebody had to say it

Second tie breaker is who has won more games in the head-to-head between those two teams this season.

Could you see the Habs drafting Malcom Subban 2nd round ?

2011-12 Reg. Belleville Bulls 39 94 2258 1121 2.50 0.923 25 14 0 0 0 3

Not a bad year for PK's brother. We have insanely weak depth on goalie.

If we draft him that's fine but not because his last name is Subban.

We don't need a goalie badly enough to draft one as high as the 2nd round. Yes, even if his last name is Subban.

Besides, his injuries scare me.

No Galchenyuk. This is bad in every way. We won't see him again and if it's because of lingering injury, then it's worrisome. Though he looked just fine in the couple of games I saw.

No thanks due to his groin injuries.

Hudon would be a terrible pick in the 2nd. I would wait till the 4th.

It has nothing to do with the injury. All 23 players selected were from the US-NTDP

Nieves, Samuelsson, Bozon, Tervainien. These are players you take in the second.

Want me some Frk in the second. Dude's just got killer goal-scoring instinct.

I think he needs to make it past Detroit, honestly. Sounds like a Detroit pick all the way.
