He has played much, much better in the 2nd half of the season, he is only just about 10 points off his career high, and has reached 20 goals for the first time in his career. Only way Kyle goes anywhere is if he is sent off for a top 4 d-man, and even then I don't see that happening.
Ron Hainsey + 2013 lottery protected 1st (2014 unprotected 1st) is what I would offer he is a very good player on a good contract with the potential to be even better. That's as much as the Jets can afford to offer, and really I doubt the Isles take that why trade him hes a great fit.
Garth actually tends to hoard his prospects and young players... he rarely trades them away unless he's absolutely given up on them (David Toews, Gervais, etc).

That's true. Although I'd like to see him possibly score 30+ goals with Crosby. He's one of if not the best passer in the league and he could just feed okposo.

Its not that the Isles fans are waiting for him to become a complete player, we are waiting for him to be more consistent offensively. Okposo has terrific size, speed, and physical abilities. His hockey IQ is not bad at all. The problem I have with Okposo is he does not have great hands and he leaves alot to be desired. Lets not forget that he is still young and will get better. The question is, how much better?
Despite the question marks and untapped potential Okposo easily fetches a first round pick plus a prospect or solid player. I wont trade Okposo unless a team is swilling to part with a top 10 pick in 2012. Still I doubt I would make that trade. This offer may sound right but I would rather keep him. If we had to deal him for some unknown reason I would considerate.

Okposo is far from the finished article and IF he can keep his current pace come next season then the Isles may finally have gotten the player they hoped for when he was drafted 7th overall.
Okposo's value is hard to determine because the way he played before Christmas he wasn't good at all but the way he is playing now his value has sky rocketed.
