I agree with you. I hate it when other fan bases think they should get your top players for scrubs and guys playing in the minors. Most I've the time they have never seen more than a handful of your games in the first place so they go on past reputation.

Snow tried trading up for Doughty,Bogo and Pietrangelo(sp).

He used his 2nd on Hamonic,another good skater.What strong skaters he may have missed,has nothing to do with his prefering mobile strong skaters.

An honest opinion since it is a trade that could haunt us but I would go along the lines of:

Nathan Beaulieu + 2nd rounder for Kyle Okposo

Does this sound close...I think making it a first makes it a no go from Habs...

I don't want Beaulieu traded AT ALL but value wise I think this would be right since I think Okposo is exactly who we need on Pleks wing

He still picked up Hamonic in that draft, and he's turning out very nicely even if he isn't as high-profile.
