**** this. oh well, at least we might have a goalie next year (in a back up role) in scrivens. still need a proven vet to mentor him.

i mean, going into a season with two unproven goalies, what could go wrong, right guys?

Sabres just seem a few steps behind the play.

Even I am all for tanking, but be mature enough at times and realise that its impractical for Leafs to lose all games. Besides, almost all teams in tank competition have a 1st overall player playing for them.. Columbus, Edmonton, New York Islanders, Tampa, Minnesota, Carolina. (Only Habs and Anaheim don't (Bobby Ryan = 2nd)). It shows that a good player can only do so much. A draft won't change that much.

Point is, everyone including me wants a good player out of the draft, but don't act like your ****ing life depends on it.

The Sabres are really letting their fans down out there tonight, seems like it's too little too late for them.

Scrivens seems like a leader to me, appears noticeably more vocal than our other goalies.

He's got -what's that word- moxy.

Not able to see the game but I see the score is 4...when was the last time this team scored 4 goals?

For all of the babies whining about tank nation being screwed up tonight, even with a win tonight, Toronto maintains a top 5 draft pick while having played more games than any other team they'd be competing for a top pick with. Chill out.

Writing was on the wall with Karlsson, in fact ONLY reason Murray moved up with NSH and stole him at 15th overall was cuz he was like 150 lb

Curious, what is the Leafs record for consecutive losses at home? Like was this streak it or was it during some other era?

This was the longest streak at eleven I think.

I'm loving how bad you guys are screwing the Sabres, tonight is the first night other teams have actually given us some help which feels good.'

Maybe i'll be able to watch the game tomorrow without my anxiety tying my stomach in knots :-)

Actually, I'm comfortable with a tandem of Reimer and Scrivens on the Leafs with Rynnas, Owuya and Joacim Eriksson competing for the 2 spots on the Marlies and 1 spot with Reading.

Considering all that's happened with this team, I was wondering if the crowd would be in good spirits and go after Miller if they had the opportunity to. I'm glad to see that the Miller chants are still alive and well in ACC. Guy has a spectacular record against the Leafs so it's nice to see that for the past 2 seasons, especially this year, he can't just walk into the ACC and have an easy night...at least the fans won't let him.

No, no, no!

We saw what happened this year with 2 inexperienced goalies! Need a vet.
