I still don't find it hard to cheer for the Habs...but cheering for the Leafs...that's another thing. I'll be cheering against the Sabres, too. Then again, any win the Leafs get from here on out only hurts their draft.

So very, very conflicted.

Solid win by the Sens today. Just a couple more games and playoff hockey begins.

Losing to the Leafs at this point is so humiliating that it's almost worth watching someone else go through it.

Congrats on the SOW. The Senators certainly found the Flyers' Achilles heel.

Personally I hope the Leafs and Habs completely blow away their opponents.

Then all their fans will be thinking "WTF. WHERE AS THAT ALL SEASON" and Buffalo/Washington get nothing.

I've been cheering for the Leafs in the past week. We have two good reasons:

- They gain points

- Buffalo loses

Win-win.

Apparently letting us score 3 goals exposed ours.

I think it would be REG/OT wins, right now the Devils have 32 and the Sens have 34.

The Habs have got to be trolling us by this point.

Play Price all three games against us, but play Budaj against all the teams chasing us.

1st Tiebreaker -- Fewer games played (more PPG)
2nd Tiebreaker --- games won in regulation/OT (shown by the ROW column)
3rd Tiebreaker --- most points achieved in head to head competition
4th tie breaker --- GF/GA differential

(Sens currently hold the ROW tiebreaker, NJD currently holds the head to head with 5 pts to 3 but one game left remaining, Sens currently hold the GF/GA with +10 to +9)

You don`t understand, we could put Roy in net and would still lose to the Capitals, mainly because we DON`T score on them. They had a shutout streak going from the last year, and in all this year`s games we scored 1 goal on them. 1!

Tie breakers go in order of:
1. Points
2. ROW
3. Head to head
4. Goal Differential

New Jersey right now has the 4 point lead. We currently have a 2 point lead in ROW on the Devils, and the head to head is 3 pts(1-1-1) for us, and 5 pts(2-0-1) for them. Goal differential has us up by +1.

So... it's really going to come down to points though between us and Jersey. Because for them to catch up to us in ROW, it'd basically put things in a position where it comes down to the final points anyway. The only exception being us going 3-0 (all SOW) and Jersey going 2-1 (2 ROW), and then we get a regulation win against Jersey. And maybe if we're lucky, Boston goes 0-4-0 in that time and we end up with the 2nd seed!

Alfie was asked by a reporter after the game about the Sabres vs Leafs game

He said this

Captain Daniel Alfredsson: "I always cheer for the Leafs." #Sens

Not sure if thats sarcasm. Being honest though, I do too. Sens are my number one franchise though I only hate the Leafs when Sens and Leafs play. Hopefully they tank out to grab a decent player.

One good period and a great goalie. HUGE two points.

And how good is Couturier (sp?)? Man, if Zibby (another name I can't spell yet, apparently) can come in and play like that next season... that'd be just fine with me. Kid is going to be a stud.

Well he did say he wishes they would get a decent player (someone like Schenn I guess) rather than a great player from this years draft.
