I know it looks like a lot but since you don't have a 1st round pick in the middle of the draft it is going to take quanity and still what is the chance that any of these players are top 6 or top 4 players.
I was joking. Guess I could've used the . But if all it'll take to get first overall Pick is Tatar +Jurco+Kindl+ . You can sign me up for that trade.

I don't think, as a Habs fan, that it is smart to trade our 2013 first round pick. Even if there are a lot of changes in management, it could be possible that we still won't make the playoffs. I'm not sure I'd trade the 3rd overall pick (as of now) and a very unpredictable pick (to be honest, it could be anywhere from 1st overall to 28th) for Yakupov, as good as he is and as much I would like him on my team.

Either way. They both have similar upsides and will both be stars...

Schneider is worth about the 5th overall pick ie Galchenyuk. Galchenyuk Booth Schroeder 1st to move up 5 spots.

Sign of fair deal when you aren't happy with what you paid but are chuffed with what you get back. Tough call.

Not interested in Yakupov on the Hawks. It would probably cost Pat Kane, and Yakupov is not worth Patrick Kane.

If Columbus doesn't wanna draft a Russian again (can't blame them), Islanders might put together a package. They might also be okay with standing put and taking whoever of Murray/Dumba falls to them, though. For the sake of the thread I'll bite:

CBJ 1st (1st overall)

for

NYI 1st (4th overall)
NYI 2nd (34th overall)
Grabner

Buffalo trades Vanek to St. Louis for Stewert, Cole and thier 1st

Buffalo then trades thier 1st, Nashvilles 1st, St. Louis 1st, Cole, and Enroth to Columbus for The 1st overall pick

Massive overpayment by Detroit there. Add Nash and we'll talk.

More like:

To Detroit: 1st overall

To Columbus: Cleary + 2013 1st + Tatar + Smith

And I don't think that's enough either. You're talking about a potential (most likely) game-changing 90pt forward here in Yakupov. Cleary alone isn't even close.

Although I'd rather the Wings hold on to their prospects - if holland just gives Tatar and Smitty a chance I think we'll see great things from them..

Schneider is the best piece in that deal (from Van), no way that gets it done. It doesn't work to keep piling on late 1sts - an extra (late) first round pick is not going to do anything for CBJ like an elite scoring winger.
