Who will be the next offensive stud Dman??!!

with young studs in the NHL right now getting great points(Karlsson,Shattenkirk,Pietrangelo, etc, etc) who is gonna be the next one thats still in Junior or AHL??? I think elliott in the Colorado minors could do it, or Justin Schutlz too... who else? OHL,QMJHL,WHL,NCAA, whatever!..

Joe Morrow could be a dark horse. He looked great on the PP for the Pens in the pre-season, he's earning his stripes playing for a highly-skilled Portland team in the Dub, and his cannon shot could be the missing piece for the Pens power-play:

Malkin - Crosby - Neal
Letang - Morrow

Hard to imagine a situation more conducive to production for a young defenseman than that. Probably a couple years away though.

Ryan Murray could be an offensive threat. Especially if the Oilers pick him.

Tyson Barrie, though he's in the NHL right now (8 GP).

If he puts it together, Rundblad could be awesome.

Matt Dumba is going to rack up a ton of points I think, especially if he's reunited with Nugent Hopkins in Edmonton.

I think he'd have 25, maybe even (gulp) 30 goals this year in Red Deer had RNH stayed down.

Red Wings fans hope Smith will be. He really has incredible instincts and poise.

Justin Faulk will put up loads of point and I think Ekman-Larsson, while not a prospect, will explode Karlsson style in the next couple years.

No mention of Brendan Kichton? Leading WHL defensemen in points, two seasons back to back.
