Nice win.

Kids played well which is important.

Scrivens, Asthon, Frattin, Gardiner, Even Schenn.

Can't be mad with this one. Kessel, Frattin, Mac, Lombo, Scrivens all playing great. The whole team gave a great effort and probably really hurt Buffalo's chances.

I'll take this one.

Where the hell was this level of effort when we actually needed wins? The more things change the more they stay the same.

Maybe Carlyle is getting through to him? Either way, I hope we see that from him next season; great game from the kid.
Kessel was apparently really receptive to the media after Tuesday's loss, he asked the reporters if anyone wanted to talk to him and gave better answer's than usual. Kessel absolutely needs a better C than Bozak though.

Good to see. The only thing that could be worse than the horrendous play would be ending the season on that note. I'd much rather the leafs win-out than lose-out. Picking 3rd or 5th, is still a crapshoot on who we could get.

Where was this effort a month ago? Stepping stone for the future, but we still need the top 3/5 pick.

Man, Kessel played so well tonight. He was in the corners, mixing it up, and not showing any fear. I really hope its something that Carlyle has said thats gotten through to him, and he's going to keep that sort of thing up.

Yes!!! What a great win! Now well pick in the middle like always but not make the playoffs! Our plan is working amazingly, Brian Burke is such a genius!

Can see Buffalo beating us next game, Tampa at home is essentially 2 points, and the Habs at bell centre is 50/50. Risky.

Man we really could've used the L tonight

Phil Kessel again met with the media after tonight's game, something that was a rarity most of the season. Several strong answers, too.

Looks like he's really trying to work for Carlyle. Nice to see him out there for the last 2 minutes.
