Here's one quote:

Kessel has become somewhat of a voice for his team of late, meeting with the media every day this week and attempting to articulate his frustration and disappointment with the situation.

After Thursday’s loss, he held court with reporters for four minutes, often repeating himself in the process.

I'll never complain about seeing our young players performing well. Kessel, Frattin, Scrivens in particular tonight.

Phil Kessel has emerged as a strong voice for the #leafs during their struggles. He's clearly trying to help lead the turnaround.

Phil Kessel again met with the media after tonight's game, something that was a rarity most of the season. Several strong answers, too.

Phil Kessel, who rarely does interviews after losses, came out tonight to see if anyone needed him; has been much more available of late

I know what you're doing, but it's just sickening people cheering their team losing...like its prideful to see your team lose, and jeer when your team wins, obviously you love the lottery when your 1st, but man...this draft should be done like the NBA. Tank nation has been disgusting.

It's good to see them win against the Sabres and ruin their hopes, but at the same time, the Jekyll and Hyde aspect to this team's psyche is just baffling. They seem to be able to put together a very strong game when the opposition is struggling, but when the other team comes out of the gate ready to play, they seem to wilt. Or maybe they just feel good with a fresh goalie in there? Who knows. Too bad for the tank too, but you can't lose them all, and I'm sure they'll try to move up.

Its true. Usually I wouldn't want him out there for the last 2 minutes unless the Leafs are behind a goal. It's really impressive how he's been making such a huge attempt to turn his game around recently

Only feels good because we most likely ended Buffalo's season.

Kessel's effort in the dying minutes deserves a round of applause.

Also,I REALLY liked seeing Scrivens giving props to his team-mates after they scored a goal.

It is good to see the Fables on board tonight. Was beginning to wonder if we would hear them again this season.

Carlyle transformed Selanne, maybe he can do the same with Kessel

As much as losing helps the draft pick, this team needed a home win.

Although we're tied with the Islanders and Ducks with points, we're still behind them for now since we played more games...
