Win and we're in.... it sure won't be hard for MacLean to get the team jacked up for this one...

So. Church normally ends at 12:30, but often ends 15 to 20 minutes late. Takes me 15 to 20 minutes to get home depending on how many red lights I hit.

Game starts at 1:00 here on Alberta time.

...

Time is going to be tight.

Paul MacLean 1 week ago: ''we need to win 4 of the next 7 games to make the playoffs''

Andy, Spezza, Alfie, Karlsson: '' no worries coach...we only need 4 games to get 4 wins''

lol

well, i tried to to weigh the options...

on the one hand, ottawa is battling for a playoff spot and andy just played a stellar game...

but its a back to back, he faced some tough shots tonight (as usual) and he JUST returned not too long ago.... plus it's against the not-so-good isles and auld would be able to give andy some rest....

but your right.... auld=bad

When does Anderson not play in a back to back? It brings out the real Anderson anyways, he thrives when given a heavy work load.

The way the Isles are playing, it's not going to be an easy win. This team better be up to this, it's crunch time even though the Leafs helped us out tonight.

I have Church in the morning, too. It's Palm Sunday, so a triumphal entry into the post season seems pretty appropriate. It's also April Fools day, The Hockey News, so enjoy the hell out of it

So, dumb question- if we win tomorrow, do we clinch? We'd be 6 pts up on Buffalo with 3 games left each. Do we win the tiebreaker against them?

If we get an ROW (reguation/OT win) we officially clinch. If we win in a shootout we realistically clinch, as in Buffalo would need to win 3 ROW in their remaining 3 games and somehow pass us in goal differential, while we completely **** the bed and go 0-0-3.
